  • Laser hair removal is relatively painless in most areas of the body. There can be a sensation like the snapping of a rubber band in more sensitive areas. The equipment has an effective built in skin cooling technology that distracts from most painful sensations.

  • Treatment areas and an individualized plan are determined for each patient. For example, the cost of 6 treatments for the bikini area is $650. Purchasing packages of 6 sessions will reduce the price.

  • DiolazeXL has one of the largest treatment spot sizes, making treatments convenient and fast. A typical treatment for a medium-sized area can last around 20 minutes.

  • We recommends 6 treatments to reach optimum results in a desired area. Since hair grows at different stages, it is important to space treatments out 4 to 6 weeks to make sure to target each and every hair follicle in its growth phase. Some patients may require more treatments depending on the lightness of the hair and the amount of time that has passed between treatments.

  • You can resume normal activities upon completion of your session. You may have some minor redness and heat in the areas of treatment that should subside within a few hours.

  • When you schedule your appointment, we will send you detailed pre-treatment and post treatment instructions.

    Avoid tanning one month prior to treatment and sun exposure immediately following.

  • Hair is reduced with each treatment and full results are usually observed after 6 sessions. After each session, the hair will be noticeably finer and grow more sparsely in the treated areas.

    The number of sessions will differ depending on your hair color, hair type, body area, and skin tone.
